A variety of Fine Arts Courses are offered at Belfast Area High School. Course availability and educator is subject to change based on scheduling and class sign-ups.
In order to earn a Fine Arts Credit at Belfast Area High School you must register and pass (meeting all standards) either Art Foundations and Crafts I in the visual arts department. Each courses is one semester and serve as the pre-requesite for additional coursework. You may also earn a Fine Arts Credit by enrolling in Band or Chorus in the music department.

- It is highly recommended that these courses be taken in ninth grade by all students interested in earning their Fine Arts Credit through the visual arts department. This allows a student to take the following upper level courses: Crafts II (a full year), Ceramics (fall semester), Sculpture (spring semester), Printmaking (fall semester), Painting (spring semester), Photo I (fall semester), Photo II (spring semester), and/or Portfolio (a full year - offered to students in 11th and 12th grades only).
