ART II .5 CREDIT GRADES 10-12 Prerequisite: Successful completion of Art I and Crafts I
Art I allows students to explore a variety of art concepts including experiences in art criticism and written analysis, aesthetics, art history, and art production. Art production is experienced through most of the traditional fine arts media including: drawing, painting, pen and ink, printmaking and ceramics. Students will partake in self and group critiques of their work. This course will include artist research, art vocabulary, concepts, and exploration of various cultures. Students should expect tests and quizzes on techniques, art vocabulary, and concepts.
